Christmas 2011

This was a very enjoyable Christmas.  I think it was the best we have had since Dan and I have been married.  We had all the kids and all the Grandkids at one time !!  That was an accomplishment in itself.

Dan got his new Calendar (18 month) from Tammy with pictures of all the family through out the year !

This is the grandkids first trip on the motorhome.   They are so excited riding in Papa's Bus !

      We are headed for Lufkin,  TYRRA Finals.

         Papa  gives his instructions....  you see that look !   You have to stay seated,  right  !? !!  lol he's tough.

         I  felt like I was working an airline... up and down...  back and forth.... up and down the aisle.
                                                       Whew  will we ever get there !  lol

This was such a fun weekend.  We enjoyed watching the rodeo, it brought back such good memories to me. What a great way to bring up your kids in the sport of rodeo.  You make friends for life.

                                            Sissy was ready to get this award ceremony over with.

YEAH !  We were given buckles and lots of horse stuff !

Leather and Lace  placed 7th out of 17 teams.

That was great for rookies !

Watch out next year  !!

Sissy is so little, daddy has to help.

                                       Each of the team members got a bucket of horse supplies.
                                           Halter and lead ropes etc. It will be put to good use.

   Kasyn is so proud.  This is her first buckle.  At age 2 1/2  that is pretty awesome !  Love you Baby Girl ~

The awards ceremony lasted well past noon.  These little kids had been up early for Cowboy Church and then had to wait for all the Senior and Junior awards to be given out before they could get theirs.  They were very good to be a patient as they were and not fussy.  They were hungry and wanted snacks.

The was the end of a very special weekend.  We enjoyed very much getting the time to spend with the kids and seeing them get their awards.  They tried so very hard and will do much better next year with this experience. Thank you Kasyn and Caden for letting us share with you this very special time !  Love I showed them the pictures of our precious grandchildren and they couldn't believe how small they were and competing in Rodeo.

They were gathered at the Franklin's coach.  There was Buddy and Nancy Dana, Bob and Margaret Fitzgerald , Pete and Giesel Roberts and Don and Lavern Williams.

This was the Sunday arrivals.  We are ready for a fun week.
